Donating old objects

Bornholms Museum assess by following criterias:

  • Relevans for the museum
Objects need a local connection to Bornholm. Either made by bornholmers or used particular on Bornholm.

  • The history of the object
As a museum we need to know the origin and history behind the objects, including when and how it was used.

  • Condition of the object
Bornholms museum will be critial towards the condition of the object because conservation is a big expense.

Sorry - we cannot accept everything due to our limited storage and we do not assess in regard to monetary value.
