COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

We follow the official rules from the authority.
Thus, to be able to visit any of the four museums, it is required that you can document one of the following:
- Min. 14 days from your first injection of the vaccination
- You have a negative rapid antigen test not older than 72 hours
- You have a negative PCR test not older than 96 hours
- Your positive test result must be from 14-180 days old to be valid as documentation.

Bornholms Museum
Monday - Friday at 10AM-12PM: Want to try a metal detector? Or try finds washing soil from Lilleborg in Almindingen? Visit our outdoor mini excavation site.

Tuesday at 2PM-3PM: Geeky hour - families are invited to hear the stories and backgrounds of the museum's chosen items.

Gaarden
Monday - Friday at 11AM-12PM (Not on Thursdays): FoodLabs - Explore Bornholm food culture and learn new and old traditions in the kitchen.

Tuesday - Sunday between 10.30AM-13.30PM: Horse cart (kr. 25,-)

Hjorths Fabrik
Monday - Saturday at 11AM og 2PM: Introduction to the fabrics workshops, history and exhbitions.

Erichsens Gård
Saturday at 11AM: Learn about the old plants and flowers on our garden tour.

OPENING HOURS DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAY

Bornholm Museum is open Monday-Sunday 10AM - 5PM

Hjorths Fabrik is open Monday-Saturday 10AM - 5PM
- The workshops close at 4PM.

Gaarden is open Tuesday-Sunday 10AM - 4PM.

TRY WHEEL THROWING AT HJORTHS FABRIK

Try shaping clay on the pottery wheel with guidance from our ceramicists.

The instructions and wheel throwing takes 30min. and costs kr. 75,- + admission fee (no admission fee for children and young adults under 18)

BORNHOLM MUSEUM

Bornholm Museum was founded in 1893. The museum is a state-recognized museum for cultural history on Bornholm and Christiansø.

As a state-recognized museum, we are committed to collecting, conserving, researching, exhibiting and disseminating. We do this both pre-historic until modern times.

Bornholm Museum includes four departments on four different locations, which together represent a cultural lighthouse on the island. We work to create bridge and start conversations between the past, the present and you.
