The Ceramic Factory & Museum of Bornholm

Visit our 150 years-old ceramic factory, where the production still uses the original principles for making stoneware. The atmosphere is vibrant with activities in the workshops, shop and garden.

At Hjorths Fabrik you can follow the full process of making stoneware. In the museum we have a permanent exhibition for you to see the changing designs over time and our temporary artists showpieces.
The workshops are open for visitors in Spring and Summer seasons.

Guided tours at the factory

In high season there will be guided tours at the factory at 10:30 and 14:00 on all weekdays.
High season is July 1st until August 9th 2019.

The guided tours are included in the ticket.

Here we will explain the processes when making ceramics, the history of the family-based factory, and you will get to know more about the collection of ceramics dated back to 1700s and learn about the different artwork of the four generations of Hjorth.

Private tours can also be arranged.
The tour takes about 1 hour for max. 20 people.
The group tour is DKK 600,-
