A CHARMING MERCHANT'S HOUSE

In the old part of Rønne you can find a protected Merchant's House that exudes nostalgia.
The house is build in the beginning of 1800s and is very well maintained.

Erichsens Gård is known in the art and culture of Bornholm because of the famous painter Kristian Zahrtmann and his friend, the painter and poet, Holger Drachmann took residence here.
Zahrtmann was a native Bornholmer, while Drachmann was banned by his father to live on the island.

In Erichsens Gård's kitchen you can buy homemade pancakes and in the beautiful garden you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.
You are also welcome to bring your own lunch to enjoy in the garden.

The town house and garden are open Fridays and Saturdays from May 5th to October 21rd.
During summer season the garden is open for free for visitors Monday to Thursday between 10am-3pm.

There is no entrance fee to the garden outside the house's opening hours.
