EVERYDAY LIFE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

EVERYDAY LIFE AND CHORES - OLD FASHIONED

At the top floor we display the everyday life for children and adults in the interwar years approx. 1920-1940.
You can experience an old class room and see and play with old toys. You can also have a look in the classical grocery shop; the counter seperates the costumer from the products, and you would have to ask the grocer for everything you would like to buy.

The small grocery shop in the museum is built up by parts from old grocery shops that were shut down in the 1970s. The grocer still weighed out most of the products, meanwhile 'modern' packaged goods took over more and more space on the shelves.

In the collection of toys, you will find dolls, tin soldiers, cars, paper scraps, and toy bricks like the ones grandmother and grandfather played with.
