COLLABORATIONS
Bornholms Museum collaborates with a number of cultural institutions, Danish museums and research institutions around Baltic Sea.
The museum is a part of 'Kulturvækst Bornholm' (cultural development Bornholm). In which Bornholms Museum's director has the presidency at the moment. Kulturvækst Bornholm aims to encourage a greater focus on cultural institutions contribution in making Bornholm desirable for residents, newcomers, and tourists.
Bornholms Museum is also a part of the Baltic Sea collaboration with other museums working with business development and joint research and substantiation.

Furthermore Bornholms Museum has made an agreement with Museum Sydøstdanmark (Museums of South Eastern Denmark) / Danmarks Borgcenter (Denmark's Center for Castles, including Næstved, Vordingborg og Køge), to ensure a common standard in the archaeological work.
Most recently we made a collaboration about a castle project focusing on castles on Bornholm. The new visitor center is the result of the project, which was finished in March 2018.
Moreover Bornholms Museum takes part in an important agreement with the National Museum of Denmark. The agreement ensures a greater coordination in research, conservation and communication and joint projects, excavations, publications etc.
